Circularity as a business model.
Take-back, refurbishment and Product-as-a-Service, with profitability at the heart of it all.
From concept to scalable business
Most circular business models fail because of financial considerations, not technical ones. Your products will be given a new lease of life regardless of what you do; the question is whether you stand to gain from it, or whether a third party or a competitor does.
We develop buy-back, leasing and refurbishment models where the value remains with you throughout the entire lifecycle. From concept to pilot to a scalable business, validated before you invest.
We can help you when:
- You want to validate a buy-back, leasing or refurbishment model before the investment decision is made
- Your R&D and business development teams lack a circular approach and a lifecycle perspective in their decision-making processes
- You have a circular ambition but no business model that shows when it will become profitable
- You need design-for-disassembly, modular product design or material passports to comply with the ESPR
- You’re exploring Product-as-a-Service but don’t have any figures on how much it will cost the customer over time, or what impact it will have on your balance sheet
Here, we have been working on product and business development

From industrial estate to an ecosystem for industrial symbiosis
PEAB wanted to identify stakeholders and businesses that could establish themselves within the industrial symbiosis sector in Lockryd, a growing industrial area. The challenge was to identify opportunities for industrial symbiosis and future business set-ups in the Västra Götaland region, as well as to generate enthusiasm for the concept.

Development of a multi-use system for takeaways
Duni wanted to complement its disposable products with a circular, reusable concept. The challenge was to design, test and validate Idun, a complete system for food and drink packaging designed to be reused as many times as possible.
