Xvii is not a generalist consultancy. We work with companies where raw materials, supplier structures and product life cycles are business-critical, and where circularity is the difference between a competitive advantage and a cost trap.
We were founded in 2021 as part of Vinngroup and are based in Gothenburg and Malmö. Our team combines strategy, circular business development and practical experience in sustainability. Small enough to be close to our clients. Senior enough to lead in boardrooms.
We translate materiality, CSRD, ESPR and Scope 3 into operational decisions regarding materials, design, the value chain and the business model. The result is not a sustainability report; it is a basis for decision-making that the board can rely on and the procurement team can act upon.
Why Xvii?
XVII is the number 17 written in Roman numerals. We use Roman numerals because we are inspired by the work of the Club of Rome. The number seventeen symbolises transformation and was also the number of the company established within the Vinn Group. Furthermore, it ties in with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals that the world is working towards.

Emission Twin
Emission Twin is a digital climate and sustainability platform based on a digital twin of a company’s emissions. It collects and structures Scope 1–3 data, makes calculations traceable and enables the simulation of various measures before decisions are made – from analysis to CSRD reporting. Emission Twin is one of the tools that Xvii works with and recommends for linking climate ambitions to concrete, business-oriented decisions.
