Karin Nyberg
CEO & FOUNDER
Karin has a background in business and economics and has worked in management consulting specialized in sustainability and digital transformation.
Karin has helped companies with setting a clear sustainability strategy on all levels of the organizations and has a strong passion for change management. She has also worked with Sustainergies and co-founded YSP (Young Sustainability Professionals).

Taina Flink
VP & FOUNDER
Taina is an industrial design engineer specialized in sustainable design and has worked with the circular economy since the start of the movement.
She has a unique systems perspective from working in the recycling industry and its customers. Taina has also worked with business development, circular product design, circular business models, service design and design for sustainable behavior.

Jesper Gunnarsson
CIRCULAR BUSINESS DESIGNER
Jesper is entrepreneurially wired and loves to visualise what could be, and then make it happen. He’s experienced in business experimentation and designing sustainable and commercial opportunities by validating assumptions and reducing uncertainty.
He’s got a business background and has worked with innovation and circularity in the retail industry.

Ann Silfverhielm
SENIOR CIRCULAR BUSINESS DESIGNER
Ann has worked with circular and sustainably driven business innovation, business development and entrepreneurship both as a consultant and in roles at Essity, H&M, Blocket (Schibsted) and Kinnevik . She's also active in Cradlenet, a network for knowledge sharing and accelerating circular economy in Sweden.
Ann is passionate about entrepreneurship and circular & sustainable start-ups and change management.

Xvii’s Story
Taina and Karin founded Xvii together with Vinngroup in April 2021. We wanted to build a new type of sustainability consultancy where the focus is on the products, customer offers and way of doing business. We saw the need to bridge sustainability strategies to product and business development, and the need for a translator between the silos that often exist.
Why Seventeen?
Xvii is number 17 in roman numbers. Roman because we’re big fans of the work of the Club of Rome. Seventeen because it stands for transformation and because we’re company number 17 to start up within Vinngroup. Not to mention the 17 SDG’s the world is working towards.
In addition, it is good for doing puns in Swedish - a part of the Gothenburg identity...
